Paragliding

Paragliding is a great way to fly around the city of Jounieh. The views are amazing, and it’s a fast, easy way to get around. It’s so much fun flying through the air. By following the set safety guidelines, paragliders can enjoy this exciting activity with peace of mind. It is highly recommended to give it a try!

Tandem Paragliding

Tandem Paragliding is a fantastic experience that everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and feel one with nature while also getting a good adrenaline rush. Although it may seem intimidating or even dangerous initially, tandem paragliding is safe when done correctly with LESA. All you have to do is relax, take in the views, and let Bassem take care of everything else!

Paragliding School

There’s a lot to learn about flying before you can take to the skies on your own. You’ll need proper instruction from experienced pilots.  Bassem at LESA will teach you everything there is to know about this exhilarating sport, from takeoff and landing techniques to how best to deal with challenging weather conditions. He’ll also give you plenty of flight time so that by the time you’re done with your sessions, you’ll be ready for anything! Our course is divided into two levels : LEVEL A : 1- The theory part about the glider and how it works. 2- Ground handling of the glider. 3- Takeoff-landing guided (by radio) solo flights until the pilot in training can take off and land by himself with complete autonomy. N.B: the pilot in training will be guided by radio and assisted by two instructors, the first will be on takeoff, and the second will be on the landing area. After the first ten flights, the pilot will fly in different new takeoffs and regions. 4- Meteorological theory session parallels ground handling and solo flights.
LEVEL B : At this level, the pilot will learn how to take off facing the glider (starting by ground handling training). After the pilot’s full autonomy, he is already on a good level in paragliding. So at this level, the pilot will learn how to fly in different meteorological conditions and areas. Thermalling and flying more time in the air : At this part, he will start with some exercises with the glider during the flights (e,g: ears, use the speed bar). He will also experience new meteorological conditions depending on the forecast and areas where he is flying. The pilot will be guided during his thermal sessions at first; then, he turns slowly to be also in full autonomy. LESA will provide all the equipment. After the course is finished, the pilot should buy his own equipment.
